The power supply features a universal input voltage for use all over the world with suitable travel adaptors. The current output is regulated at either 6 amps, 6.5 amps, 7.5 amps, 8 amps or 8.5 amps, dependent on the voltage setting, which should suffice for even the most power-hungry laptop user! In addition, the stabilized output with low ripple and low interference prevents outside factors such as a poor mains supply from affecting the unit, whilst short circuit and overload protection offer reassurances for those using even the most expensive of laptops. The unit has an LED indicator to show when it is powered, and is supplied complete with a mains lead which is approximately 1.3 metres in length. The lead connecting the power supply to your laptop is approximately 1.7 metres in length. The nine power tips supplied should cover the vast majority of laptops on the market, but for peace of mind a compatability guide is included in the box. The power tips are moulded in such a fashion that they can only be inserted one way round, providing a centre positive polarity - before use, please check that this matches the polarity required by your laptop, and if in any doubt, seek professional guidance.
